Aymara Mudita Alpaca Double Knit Yarn

Aymara Mudita is a marvelous blend of  Baby Alpaca, Superfine Merino in a wide palette of natural and hand-dyed shades. The ultra fine alpaca gives exceptional softness and lustre whilst the fine merino offers loft. This lofty double knit yarn is a delight to work with and results in a soft, warm squishy garment. "Mudita" is the Sanskrit word meaning "joy or pleasure". The alpaca is grown, spun and hand dyed at source by Quenti Alpaca & Mill and the merino is locally farmed. We are proud to label our Aymara brand yarn "Alpaca of Origin".
